EFFECTIVE HAEMOSTASIS DURING SURGERY IN A REAL-WORLD SETTING¹²

A single-centre retrospective review in Ireland of patients with
haemophilia B (N=56) who underwent major or minor surgery
and received ALPROLIX reported:¹²

*Difficulty in achieving intra-procedural haemostasis was reported for one surgical dental extraction in a female patient with mild haemophilia; no additional ALPROLIX injections were required, and she was treated with tranexamic acid for 5 days post procedure with no complications.¹²

Perioperative treatment with ALPROLIX was well tolerated¹²

No thromboembolic complications¹²

No development of inhibitors¹²

No serious adverse events deemed related to ALPROLIX¹²

A retrospective review of people with haemophilia B ≥18 years who underwent
a major or minor surgery and received ALPROLIX perioperatively¹²

*No female patients were included in the ALPROLIX clinical trial, but their perioperative management was safely managed within this study.¹²
