A single-centre retrospective review in Ireland of patients with
haemophilia B (N=56) who underwent major or minor surgery
and received ALPROLIX reported:12

*Difficulty in achieving intra-procedural haemostasis was reported for one surgical dental extraction in a female patient with mild haemophilia; no additional ALPROLIX injections were required, and she was treated with tranexamic acid for 5 days post procedure with no complications.12
Perioperative treatment with ALPROLIX was well tolerated12
No thromboembolic complications12
No development of inhibitors12
No serious adverse events deemed related to ALPROLIX12
